The weekend before

First lights.

Four early events open the calendar before the official start — the city is already leaning in.

Monday, June 1

True North Rising.

The Kick-Off draws 854 registrations — the single biggest event of the week — and 17 more light up around it. Day one: 2,129 attendees.

Tuesday, June 2

Tuesday breaks the record.

39 events, 3,812 attendees — the biggest crowd day. Nespresso's Groundswell screening alone attracts 809 registrations downtown.

June 3–4

79 events in 48 hours.

Thursday is the fullest calendar of the festival — 43 events in one day. Flagships on finance, energy, food and climate tech anchor 6,777 attendees across the core.

Friday, June 5

Sold out, ten times.

The flagship series closes with all 10 flagships at capacity, and the official celebration — The AfterGlow — brings 257 people together.

June 6–7

It ends in the streets.

38 community events — ravine rides, garden socials, mural crawls — carry the week into the weekend, across 19 neighbourhoods where people live.

The whole week

One city, fully lit.

199 events. 15,060 attendees. This is what a climate platform looks like from above.

Who built it

Torontonians ran it.

TOCW didn't put on 199 events — 201 hosts did. Companies, labs, nonprofits and neighbours organized 189 community events on their own initiative, and collaboration ran deep: 64 events were co-hosted by two or more hosts. That's not an audience; that's infrastructure the platform keeps.

What it set in motion

Mixed rooms.
Deeper roots.

A platform grows by mixing and holding on. The rooms weren't silos: the median event held 7 sectors and 17 industries. And people went deep — 2,178 attended two or more events.
